Alan Sacks is the Vice President of Eyefuel Group. He brings an expansive wealth of urban culture marketing and promotional expertise with him. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Alan was heavily influenced by the city’s rich, diverse musical genres. Drawn to the vivacious NYC club music scene, his early DJ years developed into resident DJ work at some of the City’s most celebrated nightclubs, including Limelight, Tunnel and Sound Factory all before he played in other U.S. cities and overseas.
In 1994, Alan co-founded Digital Domain Events (DDE), where he utilized his deep, intrinsic knowledge of the inner workings of the club scene to build a leading large event production & marketing agency. As he developed innovative, out-of-the-box initiatives, Sacks supported global electronic dance music (EDM) artists by breaking previously unknown DJs into the US Market before they climbed to the top of the music business. Examples include: Dj Tiesto – Paul Van Dyk- Gatecrasher UK — Tresor Berlin. Sacks has been producing large scale events in and around the New York City area for the past 20 years in venues like: The Hammerstein Ballroom, Roseland Ballroom, the Asbury Park Convention Center, Limelight, The Tunnel, Vinyl and many others.
Alan believes in giving back and has been actively involved in raising money for the Juvenile Diabetes Association. In the events that followed 9/11, Sacks & Digital Domain became involved with the charity called Ground Hero Kids. This charity was created to raise money for children who lost their parents at the World Trade Center.
Being the consummate entrepreneur, Alan simultaneously opened Stereo, a NYC-based nightclub that has hosted internationally known DJ’s, and served as yet another avenue for Alan to showcase his marketing and promotional panache and creativity to pack the house. Over the course of his career, he has transformed his rich, unique experience to develop innovative marketing and promotional initiatives for brands across industries, and has been recognized for his work in both the nightlife industry and for top brands.
Alan has both moderated and spoken on panels for key music industry events, including Winter Music Conference (WMC), Billboard Magazine Dance Music Conference, and was named as one of the Top 20 Silicon Alley Movers and Shakers.
